DJ Fatboy Slim, aka Norman Cook, has voluntarily checked himself into a rehab clinic on Monday in the south of England. Cook, 45, “is voluntarily getting treatment for an alcohol problem,” his manager told Reuters. “”We expect to see him back in action real soon.”
Cook has an 8-year-old son with his wife of 10 years, former radio DJ Zoe Ball. He had recently decided to drop his stage name, telling FasterLouder a month ago, “Fatboy Slim is an idiot alter ego who puts on a bad Hawaiian shirt, drinks a bottle of vodka and becomes Mr Hyde.”
