A source has told The Sun that the King of Pop dearly loves the Harry Potter series, and is one of the few owners of a first edition of the series debut, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
Jackson “was utterly enchanted by the magic of J.K. Rowling’s novels. The tales of Harry and his pals in the books gripped him, he has followed them all religiously. He is a big admirer of the films too, he owns all the movies and he has bought memorabilia for his collection. He has also shown an interest in going to the premiere for the final instalment [sic] of the Potter films.”
As the biggest fan of the Boy Who Lived, Jackson has also invited Harry, Ron and Hermione themselves (that is, the actors portraying them) to meet him backstage at his upcoming concerts. The source did not say whether or not Daniel Radcliffe’s turn in Equus lit this fire.
