Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have confirmed what seemed somewhat obvious during the three-year run of their MTV reality show: Ozzy was high the whole time. “As Ozzy will tell you, the whole three years that we were filming he was stoned the whole three years,” Sharon said (via Digital Spy). “He wasn’t sober for one day.”
Marijuana wasn’t Ozzy’s only substance of choice from 2002-2005; he also confessed to drinking a case of beer a day after filming and added, “Every show that was on there…I couldn’t tell you what the time of day it was…I used to do a lot of prescription drugs as well.”
Ozzy, his daughter Kelly, and son Jack have all had stints in rehab over the years and, to their credit, the family has used their public struggle to bring awareness to the issue. Recently, Jack Osbourne filmed a news special about drug addiction at the Malibu rehab center where he got clean in 2002.
