Ray LaMontagne to Play w/ Baltimore Symphony Orchestra

Ray LaMontagne is setting out on a 15-date U.S. solo acoustic tour this fall, but before taking the stage alone, he will be joined by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra for two concerts in Maryland at North Bethesda’s Music Center at Strathmore (10/15) and Baltimore’s Meyerhoff Symphony Hall (10/16).

The soft-spoken singer/songwriter must’ve had a good time this summer playing with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. He’s a shy guy, for sure, but who would turn down a chance to sing “Meg White, baby, you’re the bomb,” backed by a few bassoons, piccolos, oboes, and a tuba?
