Many musicians, actors, and various other celebrities already have plans for Haiti relief underway, but where are all the comedians? Ah yes, here they are: Will Ferrell “and Friends” had previously booked LA’s Nokia Theatre for “Make It Better,” a one-off comedy show to benefit A Better LA, an anti-violence charity headed by USC’s football head coach, Pete Carroll.
Well now Ferrell, a USC alumnus, and Carroll are diverting the proceeds of tickets sold this Friday (1/22) to the Red Cross for Haiti relief. There’s also a buy one get one free offer, so come on people, let’s sell this thing out.
And perhaps we should ensure just that by listing Ferrell’s “friends”: Demetri Martin, Tenacious D, Tim & Eric, Rob Riggle, Nick Swardson, and Aubrey Plaza are all part of the show.
