Is it just me or is there a tinge of the Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind” in Tokyo Police Club’s new single, “Breakneck Speed?” Either way, they know how to choose influences as this song now sits with “Cut Cut Paste” among my favorite TPC singles.
“Breakneck Speed” and four other songs (“Favourite Food,” “Favourite Colour,” “Wait Up (Boots of Danger),” “End of a Spark”) streaming below are set for release early next month as part of their second full-length effort, Champ.
