Lisa Hannigan took a break from the studio, where she’s recording the follow-up to her debut solo album, Sea Sew, to perform a seasonal favorite with Richard Hawley and (Dr.) Jarvis Cocker on Ireland’s Other Voices. While their hushed take on “Silent Night” is worth noting alone, I’m particularly glad that Some Kind of Awesome alerted me to the clip as it gives us an excuse to share an excellent pro-shot video from the queue of Hannigan’s final show last December following her 2-year live run, which happens to also be the last gig with longtime drummer/collaborator Tom Osander.
