Perhaps the thrill of hearing a short-but-sweet preview of Björk’s new Biophilia single, “Crystalline,” has warn off a bit since Sunday, but thankfully some footage of the singer-songwriter performing stunning renditions of previously released material live on Icelandic television also surfaced in the past few days to tide us over while we wait for the new LP. Back in February, Björk unveiled live takes on 5 older tunes for the show Átta Raddir, many of which feature fresh arrangements, including — personal favorite — Medúlla cut “Pleasure Is All Mine” with backing chorus and a beat-boxing trio.
