In the run-up to her new solo record, Colours, LAKE’s Ashley Eriksson took a camcorder to local Olympia, Washington haunts and performed various album cuts. The whole set — featuring little more than Eriksson singing on a piano found onsite — has an intimate mid-fi quality, like an early-’90s home VHS tape or piano recital with much better songs. All 11 videos are collected here, but the can’t-miss clip is above: album closer “In The Stubborn Eyes Of A Demon,” live from Ben Moore’s (where Matt Groening was rumored to first doodle Simpsons characters).
