While it plays out more like a making-of piece, there are also a few moving sections reflecting on the King of Pop&#8217;s early death, the most memorable of which is when Lee cuts to heart-wrenching moments from each interviewee who knew him personally reacting to an unspecified question about the loss. That segment is a brilliant directorial approach, where the iconic and human sides of Jackson&#8217;s influence are brought into poignant focus.
