Produced by TMR leader Jack White, tracks off their self-titled debut began to surface back in 2010, complete with an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twentyfourbit.com\/2010\/02\/watch-jack-white-directs-the-black-belles-what\/\" target=\"_blank\">official video<\/a> helmed by the former White Stripes singer and current <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billboard.com\/news\/jack-white-set-for-first-no-1-album-on-billboard-1006878952.story#\/news\/jack-white-set-for-first-no-1-album-on-billboard-1006878952.story\" target=\"_blank\">chart-topping<\/a> solo artist himself. Back then, we were quick to draw a number of White Stripes comparisons, but watching this new clip via the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/music\/musicblog\/2012\/apr\/26\/new-music-black-belles-wishing-well\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Guardian<\/em>&#8216;s premiere<\/a> today has gone a long way toward opening our ears up to the broader sonic (and color) palette they have to offer. In short, combining a garage-rock stomp in the rhythm section with fierce, classic-rock-ready guitar riffs can&#8217;t go wrong in my book.
