As it turns out, though, this group doesn&#8217;t need our &#8212; or anybody&#8217;s &#8212; help spreading the word, as their prowess in live settings simply speaks for itself. To wit, earlier this month we caught perhaps the best live clip yet of the group in the form of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twentyfourbit.com\/2012\/04\/alabama-shakes-hold-on-official-video\/\" target=\"_blank\">official video<\/a> for <em>Boys &amp; Girls<\/em> single &#8220;Hold On,&#8221; while tonight brings the same tune, completely slayed for David Letterman and his <em>Late Show<\/em> on his birthday.
