While Seth Avett&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twentyfourbit.com\/2011\/05\/video-seth-avett-covers-elliott-smith-in-which\/\" target=\"_blank\">Elliott Smith cover<\/a> remains a favorite from their YouTube channel to date, a ukulele-backed take on David Childers&#8217;\u00a0&#8220;Lucky Stranger&#8221; by Scott arrived on Sunday that comes really close to taking the lead for us in terms of honoring the original while making the tune one&#8217;s own. Seth and bassist Bob Crawford also just offered up a cover tune: &#8220;Operator (That&#8217;s Not the Way It Feels),&#8221;\u00a0Jim Croce&#8217;s 1972 hit performed unplugged in a barren basement.
