We’ve seen Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon cover a song<\/a> from Ana\u00efs Mitchell’s excellent\u00a0new record, Young Man in America<\/a><\/em>, and heard the pair collaborate on Hadestown<\/a><\/em> cut “Wait For Me,” but now for the logical next step: the pair on tour. In September, Mitchell will hit the road with Vernon & Co. for eight dates in\u00a0the Northeastern U.S., following a stop in Ottawa where she’ll perform at the Canadian capital’s annual folk festival.<\/p>\n

On a side note, Vernon isn’t the only big name literally singing praises for Mitchell these days, as the great songwriter Billy Bragg recently performed<\/a> her song “Why We Build the Wall” on a stop in her native Vermont. And speaking of the Green Mountain state, a string of barnstorming shows are planned to cap off the fall jaunt that ends in New York City. Here’s the full itinerary:<\/p>\n
