\"TheAs it turns out, the new Avett Brothers song we caught a live preview of last summer is the opening track to their new album, The Carpenter<\/em>. Word of “The Once and Future Carpenter” being included on the forthcoming set came today along with details on the full tracklist and album cover.<\/p>\n

Due out on September 11th (alongside Bob Dylan’s new LP, Tempest<\/a><\/em>), The Carpenter<\/em> is a 12-track, Rick Rubin-produced release led off by the aforementioned cut and our first official teaser track, “Live and Die” — both of which offer enough of a nod to their earlier work while taking a fresh step forward. In short, one of the most promising, highly anticipated records of the year is right around the corner.<\/p>\n
