All that said, we wouldn&#8217;t be hearing the Civil Wars in films, on festival stages, or blasting out of thousands of car speakers if not for the quality of the tunes and incredible vocals themselves.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve been remiss in introducing the group around here (though many readers have undoubtedly enjoyed their stuff, perhaps even their contribution to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twentyfourbit.com\/2012\/03\/hunger-games-ost-tracklist\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Hunger Games<\/em> OST<\/a>), so without waiting a day longer, here&#8217;s a fine starter: their live-favorite cover of the Smashing Pumpkins&#8217; <em>Siamese Dream<\/em> single &#8220;Disarm.&#8221; The pair not only bring the rousing tune down to earth with pitch-perfect harmonies and a deconstructed take on the rhythm, they do so with an endearing, natural ease that injects the cut with an unlikely sense of calm where fear and\u00a0loneliness\u00a0once persisted.
