Patience, my friends.&#8221;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>First up, How To Destroy Angels revealed the follow-up to their 2010 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twentyfourbit.com\/2010\/06\/download-how-to-destroy-angels-ep\/\" target=\"_blank\">debut EP<\/a> will arrive in November, while an LP from the group is set for early 2013. Titled <em>An Omen<\/em>, the set will feature 6 more songs (making the list of total officially released tunes a dozen in number, perhaps enough for the full-length). How To Destroy Angels also revealed they are now a quartet comprised of Reznor, Mariqueen Maandig,\u00a0Atticus Ross, and &#8212; most recent addition &#8212;\u00a0Rob Sheridan, whose visual art has appeared alongside most of Reznor&#8217;s recent output, including HTDA.<\/p>\n<p>In an interesting new direction for Reznor, the band have signed with Columbia Records to release both forthcoming albums, citing &#8220;a chance to work with our old friend Mark Williams.&#8221; Reznor says a broader explanation is likely on the way for the move into non-self-released music, adding: &#8220;Complete independent releasing has its great points but also comes with shortcomings.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Further details on HTDA are scant, but we&#8217;ll keep an eye out for further updates from the group (and can&#8217;t wait to hear about the other projects Reznor has yet to reveal) in the months to come.
