Hidden in Sundance’s recent announcement of short films to screen at the Park City, Utah film festival in January was one intriguing (and possibly hilarious) project: Fight For Your Right Revisited, a short written and directed by Beastie Boy Adam “MCA” Yauch, which, as Vulture points out, boasts the following description:
After the boys leave the party… Cast: Elijah Wood, Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Jack Black.
Looks like we have a lulz-packed sequel to the Beastie Boys’ classic 1986 video for “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)” on our hands. Can’t wait to see this, and yes, we’ll be revisiting the Rick Menello/Adam Dubin-directed original video below.
