Stream: Danger Mouse, Jack White, Daniele Luppi – “Two Against One”

Our first official taste of Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi’s forthcoming Rome project was unveiled by Parlophone Records today in the form of two streaming tracks: “Two Against One,” featuring Jack White on lead vocals, and “Black,” starring Norah Jones. In a trailer for the album, White described the process behind his contribution:

“I rode around in a car, listening to the instrumentals. I had a handheld recorder and I sang whatever came to mind to all the songs. And it was the ones that spoke to me more and more, as I kept driving around, and I started to find phrases that meant something to me and vocal melodies that meant something, and built it up that way.”

The full set won’t arrive until May 17, but you can pick up both of the aforementioned singles via Third Man Records on 7-inch vinyl on Record Store Day, April 16.
