On November 25th, the Hold Steady’s Craig Finn will preview his forthcoming Americana-leaning solo LP by releasing a limited 7” single for Record Store Day’s Black Friday event. Produced by longtime Spoon producer Mike McCarthy, the effort features guest performances from members of Centro-matic, Phosphorescent, White Denim, and Heartless Bastards. We saw Finn debut new material on Minnesota Public Radio back in April, but now his first single, “Honolulu Blues,” and B-side “Rented Room” are available to stream, thanks to the SoundCloud page of his new UK label, Full Time Hobby.
