Respect your elders, folks. They might just pull a gun on you. At a rap concert in northeast Senegal in Africa a 70-year-old man opened fire because he felt insulted by the lyrics. Reuters reports 5 people were wounded in the Lobali village, located near Senegal’s border with Mauritania.
Local police reported, after the man heard the rappers’ lyrics refer to a “cranky old man” he asked them to stop, but when they didn’t, he took out his hunting rifle and started shooting.
“The elderly gentleman felt that these young people were insulting him in their songs,” a police officer said, adding that the man was arrested.
Parents just don’t understand.
