Rapper Lil Cease was with his cousin Notorious B.I.G. when he was murdered in 1997. Today he has leaked his “Letter to B.I.G.” at the urging of Busta Rhymes and Jadakiss, following the fanfare surrounding the release of Biggie’s biopic, Notorious.
“The world took you to Hell, hope you in Heaven bro. / I talk to you in my prayers, but here my letter go,” Lil Cease sings before updating the rap legend on all of their former friends. Later in the song he says, “Rap’s lame, yo. / Anyone can get a deal.”

Jadakiss has also recorded and shot a music video for a rap letter to Biggie that has yet to be released. His own “Letter to Big,” will appear on his forthcoming The Last Kiss album, set for March 10th.
