Bono, Brandon Flowers, and Gary Barlow Join Coldplay for Killers Song

Coldplay’s Twitter was updated last night with more than its usual press release jargon: A representative for the band live-tweeted their performance at the War Child charity event. No big deal, right? Not until singer Chris Martin announced, “This is going to be the best encore you’ve ever seen.”

Gary Barlow joined Coldplay for Take That’s “Back For Good” as an introduction to their final performance of the night: Bono, The Killers, Barlow and Chris Martin all sang Brandon Flowers’ song “All These Things That I’ve Done.”

Coldplay had been snubbed at the Brit Awards earlier yesterday and last night’s massive encore might have been a way to move on. “It’s been a s**t day,” Martin said at the show. “But it’s going to get better.”

A couple low quality videos of the show have popped up on YouTube, here and here, but it looks like everyone in the crowd is filming, so we should be getting a better video soon.
