Gilles Marchand Enlists M83 for “Black Heaven” Score

Yet another soundtrack we’re looking forward to hearing: M83 mastermind Anthony Gonzalez has penned the score to Black Heaven (aka L’Autre Monde), French director Gilles Marchand’s pseudo-suicide mystery film, which is set to premiere at Cannes this month, the Playlist reports.

The film tells the story of Gaspard, a man happily in love until he meets, and is seduced by, a creepy person online. “Audrey is beautiful, poisonous and lives a double life in an on-line game called Black Hole where she is called Sam,” reads the Black Heaven synopsis. “There she attracts victims and seduces them to commit suicide in real life.”

Sounds perfect for some ambient jams from the man with the M83 avatar. We love French murder mysteries like this around here, so a killer score is just icing on the cake. Check out the trailer (via CoS) below:
