If this isn’t the official video for the National’s first High Violet single, “Bloodbuzz Ohio,” singer Matt Berninger should use it as a modeling audition tape for Burberry ads. Directors Hope Hall, Andreas Burgess and Carin Besser kept the frontman decked out in garb similar to his GQ spread for this black and white clip, which finds Berninger strolling through the park, drinking at a bar (the bartender is the band’s new collaborator, famed Dylan documentarian D.A. Pennebaker), and dancing in a curtained room that might as well be a colorless version of David Lynch’s Red Room.
