Kyle Field’s Will Oldham-esque project Little Wings reached a new (and larger audience) last year when Leslie Feist followed up her live cover of his song “Look at What the Light Did Now” by naming a music documentary after the laid-back folk tune. And then Field himself appeared in a bonus clip from the DVD, performing the title track as a duet with Feist while literally laid back in a beach canyon. The timing is perfect, therefore, to drop Black Grass, a new LP from the SF singer-songwriter, which arrives on February 26.
