As it turns out, that Mojave Desert performance won’t be the last we hear from Andrew Bird this year. I Want to See Pulaski at Night, a new EP from the Chicago singer–whistler-songwriter, arrives on November 12th. The set features 7 new original songs, all of which are instrumentals except the near-title track. It’s a tribute to his hometown, per this tune’s lyrics and the reference to Chicago’s Pulaski Road, a street with the same namesake for a certain Sufjan tearjerker.
